How to display the battery life of iPhone 11 or 12 on the home screen using the widget

If you want your iPhone’s battery life to be displayed on the screen by default without having to swipe your finger, there’s another way to do this on newer iPhones. Although you can’t see it in the upper right corner, you can pin a battery widget to your home screen that shows the percentage.

First, press and hold anywhere on the iPhone home screen to enter edit mode and tap the plus (+) icon in the upper left corner.

Then type “Battery” in the search box and click on the corresponding result.

Swipe until the widget displays the battery percentage of your iPhone and connected devices.

Click on “Add widget” and it will be added to the home screen of your iPhone.
